A black and white female dog came onto the beach. her black and white coat was clean from the grooming she had finished moments ago. She was both border collie and German Shepard, so, she was pretty good-sized. She saw the beach waters, and excitement bubbled in her. Then, she gave a bark, and dove into the shallows, and Ran after the waves, and ran up and down the shoreline. Her coat was dripping and she splashed as she went. She had never been happier! Her glacier blue eyes gleamed with excitement. Then, at last, she came back onto the sand, panting. She was good-spirited and good-natured. She laid down on a patch of seaweed. Then, she began to wonder if there were others... She had been dropped here by a helicopter that had left, and never been found. But she had already learned to hunt. Now, she pointed her nose to the sun, and gave a howl, hoping that if there were others, they;d be friendly and welcome her, maybe even become friends with her. She would love the companionship...

Eö loped casually down the shoreline, kicking up a fine mist of sand as he traveled. He sidestepped cleanly into the waves and delighted in the cool water at his ankles. As he rounded the broad curve of the island, a larger dog came into view. He quickened his pack as a lovely howl rose from the distant form. He barked happily in reply and approached.
He dipped his head in a bow as he came close and noticed that this dog was female, and only the smallest bit larger than himself. The difference was barely noticeable. His head quirked curiously, he introduced himself. "Hello M'lady, I'm called Eö. What are you called?"
