Ice dodged through the cold lands, his thick coat being tossed and jostled as his thick body lept and sprang. His pads where sore from jumping rock to rock, nearly rubbed raw but moving through the snow would make the feeling even worse. His tail would whip lash against his side as he balanced himself, his ears pressed flat against his head. At last he had risen to the top of the mountain. The cold had numbed his ears and paws, his breath clearly visible as the carbon was exposed to the oxygen of the fridge mountains. This was his kind of weather though, he was to hot on the beach but up here the cold treated his thick pelt lovely. Perching himself on a long rock clearing over a ledge his piercing blue eyes scanned out over the frigged lands, a long howl pearicing the air as his vocals sounded.

Happily jumping around on the rocks the pointer female was stopped short by a long howl. It had a nice ring to it and jumped around a bit more just listening to the howl. When it ended she frowned. Perhaps the dog was lonely uptop on the mountain. Maybe he or she would like some company.
Deciding to go ask the dog Panik began her journey up. Her coat was thin and was better suited for warmer weather but as long as she kept moving her body heat would keep her protected from the biting winds. Ever so carefully she climbed from rock to rock and at some point (she can't exactly imagine when) snow began to form on the rocks. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted another footprint and sized them up against hers. They were obviously much bigger than hers. She trembled just a bit from apprehension.
Continuing her way up Panik began to feel the effects of the snow around her body. Forcefully pushing it from her mind she ignored it. Reaching the top was her only goal. Finally reaching it she saw a dog. He was pretty big and Panik couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She sat still and continued to ignore the biting cold. She purposely moved her paw a bit to create a little scratching sound, making sure he knew she was there.

Flatting his ears further against his scull he shifted as he heard the muffled sound of another being climbing the mountain. Most likely another dog, he hadn't really seen anything else besides k-9's. He hadn't really seen much of his own fellow K-9's either, company could be appercatable. Though he himself was sort of a lone wolf, even if he wasn't a full wolf. His dam a snowy malamute and his sire a northern wolf. It was funny, while his mother was a plentiful breed his sire was a dieing one, nearly a species killed off before the flood came. His sire himself a monstrous Hessian, mostly because he was raised in the norther area's. Size was something needed for survival. Thus he himself was a good sized being. Everything part of him made for survival, the vital thing that kept him through the hard times.
Watching the other dog come up the mountain he stood up on all fours, his ears still flush against his head as if a normal poster for him. And in truth it was, while other dogs ears perked his lay flat. He looked over the female, sizing her up out of habit. She was smaller them himself. Her coat thinner and her build more for speed then endurance. More the moment he kept his ground, not advancing or backing off. No, just standing as she sat. He made no move to vocalize to her. No, he was stubborn creature when it came to things like that...
